Played on Monday 2nd May 2016 at Kinrara Oval, Puchong

Toss: Won by Spinning Slayers and elected to bat first

Spinning Slayers Innings – 33 for 2 after 3.4 overs (Gopal 6/1)

In a cloudy and overcast condition Opponents chose to bat first keeping in mind the rain interruption and involvement in Duckworth & Lewis Method coming into play. 1st over of the game didn't go well for UFC where fellow UFCians found really hard to control the swing he got with the assistance of the persisting weather conditions. Capitalizing the struggle bowler facing opponents added extra salt to the wound by accumulating 18 runs in the over. Zahid manage to pull it back for UFC with his lightning pace bowling and he only allowed 7 runs in the over. Meantime skipper Gopal helped to send one of their openers back to the pavilion when openers tried to steal a single over mid-on where Gopal hit directly at the non-strikers end in the 2nd over. In the 3rd over skipper brought himself into the attack and straight away succeeded with a wicket to take the dangerous batsmen in his 2nd delivery. That resulted in opponents to be in back-foot in the 3rd over loosing both openers for 25. However end of the 3rd over they were 31 for 2 and Zahid came to bowl his 2nd over after a very good 1st over. He managed only to bowl 4 deliveries where umpires decided to stop the game calling for a bad light where visibility was failing in split seconds. However within few minutes of stop play, pouring rain came to hold the game permanently. At 4.30 PM match officials called off the game due to presistent rain and field being flooded at the time resulting no sign of resuming the game before cut off time.

UFC have so far won 3 games and 2 games washed out due to bad weather while lost 2 games in this tournament. With the results achieved UFC is hopeful of going through to the Quarterfinals in this 2nd MCA T20 Corporate Championship. Anyhow for an official confirmation we have to wait for another 2 weeks, where MCA has to consider the results of other group games.
